Block ads on a hardware level

You may not know that Home Assistant can do more than just home automation. Some plugins will enable you to do things like block ads for anyone using your home network.

Install AdGaurd Home

Go to settings->addons->addon store->adguard home

Change your Router DNS to the ip address of your home assistant

This will verify from router to router

You can try to google how to change dns server of your router

Once you set it to your home assistant ip save and restart the router
